Can I frame an L-shaped mirror?Updated 11 days ago
Yes, you can use our Add A Frame kits for L-shaped mirrors and there are two different ways it could work.
The first option is that you can frame each individual mirror, which would look like two framed mirrors. This will likely be the simplest way to frame them.
The second option is to frame both mirrors within one continuous frame, which would make it look like one large mirror. However, in order to do that you would need to hire a contractor to cut the frame down to get the specific angles needed for where the mirrors meet. You will also need to seal the edges that you cut in order to protect it from moisture.
Wood sealant can easily be found at stores similar to Home Depot.
Everything else will be standard in regards to putting the frame together at the 4 corners and we provide everything needed to do that.
If you’re interested in framing both mirrors separately, you would measure the individual mirrors the same, except you will subtract the depth of the frame from the width of each mirror.
